I don't know about HO, but the 1/32 scale Scalextric setups are fun and have
some interesting cars like the MINI, the Caterham 7, open wheel, Nascar,
Indy, etc. They also have a "pacer" Mercedes (

supposed to give you serious competition. I recall the MINI setup was in
place at the Kumho Tire/MINI events a couple years ago and tolerated a lot
