Why are Delorean's always seen

or nearly always seen at Brit car shows? Because they were assembled in 
Ireland?  

I think they have Volvo running gear?  Just wondering as I am noticing this 
in an event I attended and in pictures of events?  

Seems like a bit of a stretch to include them as a Brit car - what gives? 

(Nothing against the car - I would like to have one - I just never saw them 
as a British automobile).
