Sure. Like human beings....basically the
same but different.
Like comparing a Sopwith Camel with
an SE-5 or Spad....the former having less
dynamic stability. Stock sway bar equipped 1/2 elliptic Spridget hasn't got the
"tossability" (oversteer in terms of extent) of the stock "bar-less" 1/4
elliptic Frogeye & Sprite II, the latter having more built-in directional
stability (especially at
speed). Then of course, the difference in
steering ratios between the early and later
racks as well.
And of course, the torque difference between stock small bore/large bore
engines is obvious though the small bores ran so much more smoothly (especially
the 1098) than the large bores. Then, gear ratios as well....
Same but different...
