Silicone, dielectric grease, whatever. Use
something to keep the moisture out.

But this worked for me since it seemed
to cure my wet starting problems (points
type ignitions) so many years ago. Still use
this method today.

Faspec used to carry these neat
little kits which contained "gloves" for 
distributor, coil and spark plug ends....whatever happened to these?
