Pete: I have used a Haynes primarily and a Chiltons secondarily. If you are going to get into engine rebuilding, the Chiltons has some good informative pages, while the Haynes has a step-by step. And buying both books won't set you back a fortune. Early on, I bought a "Factory Manual" from Moss and have used it very little compared to the other two. --David C. |
