Yeah, that's it. I wired mine similar to the picture, except I left the original battery cable connected to the starter. One less wire to add... No bendix on a GM starter, the solenoid jams the gear out and a simple spring returns it. I seem to recall that you could add a heat shield over the starter. Oh well, whatever works.
