Good!! He's dumb enough to put his slander in writing. What a stupid bastid.
Now....as long as his
negative comments fall under the LEGAL definition of "slander", "defamation",
etc. AND he has assets....somebody has to pay
for legal action and your case must be strong enough ensure that in the end,
that person isn't you.
In this event, the choice is now simple....
ignore him or defend your self in court.
Though I am "crusty" and not of a litiguous
mind and will often joke about lawyers, they definitely have productive reasons
for
existing and I've only gotten a bad one
once out of the few times I've required
legal assistance.
Consult your lawyer (or maybe a company type?) and ask him/her to
direct you to someone who specializes
in personal "smear".
And lose no sleep over why he does what
he does. There are a lot of people in this
world going around "displacing" inner
anger and disappointment against others
who've nothing to do with their own personal problems/issues.
Hope you successfully sue the hell out of
him!! :):)
