Jim.... If it was 61F, there is no way this should have happened you know. Why did you not voluntarily shut down when you observed indicated temperature pass 190 or so?? OK.... At what indicated temperature did the motor shut itself down? How long did the engine "stand" once it shut down? (You mentioned something about 10 min in initial post?) Cap'n Bob '60 Frog And most of all, why didn't you simply shut it down when you saw the temp. begin to climb past 190F? Jim....if it was 61F, there is no way this should be happening you know. |
