With plastic bushings in the leaf springs the car will have more
resistance to chassis roll, and the possibility to upset the handling.
Quarter elliptic cars may have less tolerance for that, and the result
is additional oversteer. I was even questioning whether they should be
used in the front bush of a half elliptic? Peter C. is correct in
making people question their use, because IMO they're not for everybody.
I can see a problem with them in an early Sprite with a small or no
front sway bar, and an unexperienced driver.
