I received a lot of bits & pieces from various listers to finish out my work
on Madge. Some have been installed, some are waiting for warmer weather.
My new sun visors will be much appreciated next summer, as will the little
goodies to attach them to my windscreen.
The hood cover was put to good use already.
The flasher unit is waiting for better weather, as my garage is somewhat
drafty.
The instructions for rebuilding a master cylinder have been printed out, put
with the kit, and are awaiting the day when my mechanic is snowed in later
this winter.
A few weeks prior to our move to the beautiful high desert, listers David &
Jim drove up to Oregon from California and managed to do a phenominal amount
of work on my car in just one weekend. The new seat covers that David
installed are absolutely beautiful, and the padding is sooooo comfy. I hope
the 5 speed is working well for them. I only wish it could have gone in my
car.
I have a rear leaf spring coming from a lister "someday", which is just
about when I will be ready to change it out.
The new "old" tail lamps and lenses are working perfectly and tie in much
better with the lines of the car.
Thanks to the help of listers, I am now down to just a few odds & ends to
get my old girl back in the shape she should be in. I am still looking for
an accellerator pedal and the necessary bits to attach it, but I have driven
for so many years without one that I really no longer miss it.
