Monty,
I did a wooden dash for a Mk I Bugeye Sprite. Made a template out of a
big piece of cardboard and then traced the shape out, used a compass for the
guage holes and the rest was easy. Traced it on to a piece of white oak,
cut it out, sanded it and then used this urethane that is used on the top of
bars which creeps and gives it a thick clear look. I don't have a site you
can go to and we're not suppose to attach pics on here. If you give me your
email address I can email you some pics of what mine looks like.

Is there anyone with experience rebuilding dashboards that would like to
share their wisdom, lessons learned?
What is a reasonable price for having someone rebuild a dash for a late
model midget?
Thanks,
