Any tips, tricks, moral support, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Use a digital camera and photograph the bits you remove - the engine mount
with the cut out for the steering - photograph where it lived, the position
of the distributor and the rotor in relation to No1 piston at TDC -
photograph it - which way round for the clutch plate (it might have
'flywheel side' on it), nevertheless, photograph, photograph, photograph.
Saves a bucket full of memory and embarrassing questions! Not only that but
if you keep the odd one it may be nice to look back at the restoration
work.....
ALSO - degrease the thing before you pull it.
AND - Pull it free for around 2ins before you stop and check round for the
cable/wire/bolt you haven't removed.
OF COURSE - if you are pulling it with the g'box (and you may as well - it's
easier in the long run) the g'box tailshaft will pour/drip oil as it comes
out. After you have pulled it far enough to let the propshaft fall out
stuff a few rags in the gap to keep the oil off the floor.
OH AND BTW - if it's not too late; run the engine up to warm the engine oil
before you drain it.
MAKE SURE you have ALL the gaskets before stripping.
YOU MIGHT JUST want to have a can of kerosene to chuck all the nuts/bolts in
so they'll soak and clean for a few weeks.

Good luck and more importantly - enjoy the work.
