I may have misled you. The small main 1098's and 948's are the same, the large main 1098's may be different I don't know. The 1.75" and 2" is the difference on the main bearings. Crash Bolt pattern on my 948 flywheel is 1.75 in and the 1098 is 2.0 in. Go figure. So I went with the locktite solution. Thanks again to all for the feed back.
