Well if you told me yesterday I would have a new bugeye in the family today
I would have thought you were nuts. But....a friend calls me this am and
tells me about a newpaper listing.
Yup I'm out of my mind but I now have a solid driver in addition to my
restoration project. Just in time for the best driving season of the year
too.
1960
1275 rebuilt a year ago
aluminum head
still has ribcase
MSD ignition (I'm clueless)
Vega wheels with 195s
lowered a tad
front discs
heim jointed trailing arms
fenders are flaired slightly with steel. Which is a good thing I guess but
the look is questionable for some.
It is a solid car. Car color is canary yellow but I'm getting used to it.
No one can claim they didn't see me coming. I'll try to get some pics
uploaded this weekend.
I do have one question so far. The idle seems a little high. About 1000
indicated. What should I be aiming for with carbs from an MGB?
