Fwd: Midget woes

Cap'n Bob pointed out that I should have answered his timing question for the
list to see instead of directly. Good point, here it is:

16 btc at 900 - 1,000 rpm after installing the DGV

Hope it helps someone.

Thanx DB but this should really go to
the list for everbody's edification
and education.

I'm a 1275 kinda guy and am only in
this conversation for the Weber content
and hopefully to help others get by the
common problems associated with using
DVG's for street applications that for some reason came with unheated,
rather
than water-heated inlet manifolds.

I can't even figure out why some Weber
DVG kits come with unheated manifolds
to begin with. Makes no sense to me
to produce the kit without a water
heated manifold for better fuel atomization
and fuel economy at partial throttle openings, considering it's not a
"performance" carb., but is an applilcation for the basically stock
daily driver.

Very strange.

I guess about 1,000 rpm, maybe 900.
