I believe the unlucky green racing car concept is an American thing. Teo
Fabi dissipated a lot of it about 20 years ago IIRC...
Besides, the colors were divvied up back in 1900 and I don't think green
paint had been invented yet ;-) At any rate there had not really been enough
time for such superstitions to get a good toe-hold.
OTOH, Perhaps the green British cars (complete with Lucas wiring, etc) were
the REASON green race cars came to be considered unlucky. Cause and effect?
