I had the same problem of drain down when using the larger pushrods.
Changing to the stock pushrod had no effect at all on the slow draining and
did not change how the car runs so I'm still running them. I did however
switch to 1.3 rollers later on with out much loss in performance, only at
the very top, say above 6500 RPM. I still have the problem when adding oil
but it causes me no problems otherwise. Valve cover MUST be vented or it
will smoke.
