I spotted a nice 13" steering wheel for Bugsy from a place called
Watford-Classic Cars
from across the pond. Price for the wheel, mounting boss, and Sprite Horn Push
is 36.5 pounds + 19.5 pounds for shipping, approx $100. Bugsy is a '68 Sprite
with collapsible steering column. I know that European Spec Spridgets didn't
get a collapsible column until after '68. So my adapter choices are
Midget Mk 2 1969
Midget Mk 3 1970-1974
Steering column shaft is 1/2" in diameter and I was asked to count the number
of splines/teeth on the shaft. Anyone have a handy answer on that one without
me having to remove the wheel and count. This shaft has buggered up threads and
the less I fool with it the better. Don't know anything about this company but
they have some interesting stuff listed at their e-bay store. Thanks for your
help.
