Eight guides, but 4 seals. Why?
On the intakes because of vacuum?
Not the exhausts, oil cools the hot valves?
Do I have it backwards?

Have I been out in the sun too long?

Little Boomer is running great.
The bonnet flew open a week ago and is off.
Sure makes a good argument for exit louvers, methinks.
The Geo radinator really cools despite a flamer day - 95 degrees.
