Perhaps it was merely "designed to hold the label" for alcohol. Are you sure
you read ALL the instructions?
You may want to see if Target will reimburse you for the lost alcohol as well.
What does a shot of that cost at your local bar? Get a manger and tell him you
want that amount added to the refund. Be firm, tenacious, NON VULGAR, but loud.
Let the incoming buyers hear how dissatisfied you
are with Target, and the products they sell. I did this at Frye's Electronics
in Arlington, and let me tell you, when the customers stopped to listen to my
mantra of "ARE YOU TELLING ME YOUR SALESMAN LIED TO SELL ME THE EXTENDED
WARRANTY!?" They were more than happy to fulfill my request.
Bless them for putting the customer service counters near the doors. Wally
World caught on, and moved them away from the door in their "super" centers.
