Greetings
Earlier this year I had my 5 speed rebuilt and since then have been having
clutch release problems. I have the Rivergate conversion and didn't have
any problems at all when I first installed it. So far I have rebuilt both
the master and slave, welded a travel adjustment bolt to the release pedal
and I still have phantom problems. Sometimes it works perfectly. Other
times, often in the same outing, it doesn't release properly. Its always
more noticeable downshifting. Any suggestions?

p.s. I also had a pair of HIF4 1.5" SUs put on the little beast this
spring. The result was an incredible power increase compared to the stock
1.25". I had to get a tear drop shaped bubble beat into the hood to
accommodate the front carb and air filter. The hood is at the body shop
now getting painted. I'll post some pictures when its done.
