I met kevin and his son Rob in front of the Morris Minor with a big
block V8 and a blower on it. The blower stuck up as high as the roof of
the Minor! Must be another one of Paul A's creations ;)
And as usual, I scored some swell LBC parts.
1st was a pair of 1958 Bugeye sprite windshield posts. And my son needs
them for his 58 Sprite so it was $20 well spent. Sorry chuck :)
Next was a nice LL (Les Leston) wood steering wheel, 13" flat dish, like
perfect for a Sprite. $10.
And of course the usual .50 cent muffler clamps and boxes of tail light
bulbs for $2 that every working garage needs. But I keep buying these
bulbs, boxes of hose clamps, and cards of battery terminals, I use 1 or
2 and the rest disappear. I have a son, he has friends, Dad's garage is
always stocked til Dad needs the stuff then he yells at his kid.
My ole man never had a garage so it not "what goes around comes around"
Looks like I loose when I keep a stocked garage.
Lots of sun, Rob looks like a lobster, saw a not too bad Sunbeam Alpine
sold for $200. Look at loads of chevy, ford, and mopar parts searching
for those elusive LBC parts and had a great time doing so.
