there should be brass inserts for the screws in the steering plinth. Don't
worry about the heater switch, you will be having too much fun to realize your
cold.

Subject: Bugeye heater and steering question..

Evening all,

I recently purchased the steering wheel plinth off eBay . Upon
examination I note that thee are 3 bosses where something (bolt, screw?
) should go to hold it to the dash but there are NO threads or any
marks for that matter inside the bosses so what is supposed to hold it
to the dash? And please be as specific as possible!!

Secondly, I also purchased a heater switch/cable. It looks like the
heater motor can only be turned on when the cable is pushed in (closed
position? ) and this doesn't make sense. That said, the car is not
near me at present so i may have the open/close thing backward. any
help??

TIa

Lester
