On December 17th I received a Paypal email asking me to confirm
information regarding my Paypal account. Because of stories I've
heard from others I was immediately suspicious. In spite of the very
legitimate looking email, it was addressed to an "info" address from
my web site. In checking with the Paypal web site directly I was
first directed to an information page on this very situation. I
forwarded the email to Paypal at "spoof@paypal.com" and the email was
confirmed as bogus. I know most of you are savvy to these situations,
but I thought I'd put this out there, just in case.
