They don't look anything alike. The Minor looks a bit like a '47 Desoto
that spent too long on spin-dry. The Cambrian does bear a resemblance to a
Morris Major, of possibly the Oxford. I think, but am not positive, that it
uses the B series running gear.

It is actually all Austin - it probably uses a 1200cc version of the larger
B series engine - has a four on the column with a reversed shift pattern
first=third, second = fourth, third = second and forth = first!!! The
steering is terrible, same as a Nash/Austin Metropolitan - The early
versions of this car were called "Cambrian" because Cambridge was
trademarked to the Plymouth division of Chrysler until 1955 or 1956.
