I understand where he is coming from. He looks at the
price of a computer he doesn't understand and can't
fix, and sees that for the same money he can buy and
restore a Bugeye. Seems like a no-brainer choice to
me. We will all miss his wit and his wisdom. Unless...
How about a SOF - Save Our Frank? We just show
up and fix his broken PC. I'm sure some of us PC types
have spare parts lying around from when we upgraded
our machines -- hard disks, modems, video cards, a new
OS. It can't be any worse than fixing a rusted Sprite tub
over a weekend.
Heck, it may be cheaper and easier to find him a used
(we tight) Mac as a replacement. Are Macs made in
the USofA, or China?
