I've enjoyed all the responses to this.... especially the wellnuts... that
was an interesting concept. kinda like a rivnut but it doesn't try and be
something it's not... and the added anti shock / vibration damping has some
merit.
The Rivnut leaves that little bit on the surface and it's always bothered me
not to get something Flush.... that's why the nut plate works for me....
when installed with countersunk rivets it's Pure flush and you can mate
the two surfaces....
