With all this talk of new tires, it seems I need a new set. I currently
have an old set of Dunlop Sp-4s on the car. Probably the last set the
store had 2 years ago when I completed the restoration. Dunlop did make
the same size tire (145R-13) in their new SP-20, but have discontinued
them. I cannot find any other 145 tires except for Uniroyal and they
are regular passenger tires. I am told 165/70R-13s are the same
diameter as 145R-13s. I have a very limited selection even in this
size. Will the 165s fit O.K. on the stock rims? Will they rub? Does
anyone have a internet tire company that sells 145 or 165 size tires?
