David,
Sorry about the delay in replying. Finally got the
combination of parts together and sure enough the
little pin was sheared on this one too. I drilled a
small hole where the pin had been and epoxyed a new
pin in its place. Almost worked, but I need to move
the pin just a hair out towards the edge of the
cylinder. Patience is not my long suite. Duuh. :-)
It's sure a lot more fun to try and fix unrepairable
things than to buy new ones. The satisfaction is in
the challenge. right?
Will report on the continuing saga.
