Century 120 volt MIG goes for about $450. I liked it best of all the
120v units I looked at because it had variable controls for both the
wire feed and the amps, most of the others only had a high.low switch
for the amps. It's been great for 10 years of occasional use. anything
heavier than 1/4" is a serious structural member and I'd be taking it to
the guy up the street anyway. Big ol' spool o' wire from the nearest
welding supply popped right in. Here's a place with a picture:
