I'm happy with my Michelin X-Metrix (or something like that). They are
155R13 non-profile tires. They've held up fairly well over the last 5K
miles, and grip well in rain and snow. Yes, snow. I think Gottstein may
have 2 or 3 extra rims in Edison.

It worse than that. I plan to get a couple of extra rostyle rims and
blast them, paint, put on some new good tires. As the say in the hood,
"Gilroy be styling." That way I will be able to drive while I clean and
paint.
As for that Antique Roadshow patina, you know the patina, that add value
if and only if it is not cleaned off. Well that value was lost when I
turned my back and Frank buffed the patina right off my hood. Since I
have come that far I might as well continue do this strange road of
clean and polished.
