Jim,
Surface rust? I can't imagine a Midget with such a degree of "surface rust"
that one crunched fender would make a fiberglass nose piece an attractive
alternative. Just where is this "surface rust" located? If it is, truly,
only surface rust, just spend a few hundred for a new fender from BMH,
splash some new paint on it and you're good to go.

Has anyone actually fit a one-piece fiberglass fender-hood unit to a
square-bodied spridget? I have recently purchased a 1973 Midget with a
crunched fender, no grill, and a lot of surface rust, which seems to make it
a good candidate for one of the new or old kits I've seen on eBay, but I
would like to hear from someone who wasn't trying to sell me something tell
me what's involved.

Thanks,

Jim
