I can't see how there can be any kind of power increase in doing this. Once
the spark ignites the mixture the flame travel across the combustion chamber
is incredibly fast. Also bear in mind that on the A-series the combustion
chamber is neither round or a uniform depth so what might just work on
something
still isn't much use to us.
I think Frank spent some time doing this but didn't notice any difference.
