Hi all,
I9m about to put a new, freshly sealed (inside), freshly zinc painted
(outside) gas tank. When I took off the old one the straps/seals were
rotted beyond recognition. Do I need to install new ones or can I just bolt
it back on without them. Are they there to minimize vibrations or some
other purpose?
