Just remember that hot water rises and cold water sinks. The water gets hot
in the engine and rises, and gets cold (well, cold-ER) in the radiator. So it
rises in the engine, out the thermostat, into the radiator, down to the bottom
and back into the engine. This way even if the water pump fails you still get
SOME circulation from this thermosiphon action.
