I'd highly recommend the article "Assembling a Bugeye Body - Roger Gaunt",
in which
a local specialist attached a body to the floorpan of a bugeye Sprite. He
reproduced
the method the factory used, but has fantastic jigs to ensure everything is
lined up
just so.
