The previous owner desmogged the engine and added a Weber DGV carb, thereby
putting me out of HS class and into FSP. The car is not competitive (but it
could be), mainly because I don't have autocross tires. I am usually 1 to 2
seconds behind the '78 VW Scirocco with coilovers, wide slick tires, racing
seats
and harness, stripped interior, etc. But I don't autocross for trophies, I
do it to fill the weekends with fun car stuff between rallies.
