ya wanna know why? because the bearing and seal are dry untill they get
bathed by the cornering action in the car. now if yer not a spirited driver
the bearing will be too dry for the first few miles as well as the seal.
the seal unlubricated will burn and no longer function as a seal, and the
bearing will burn and possibly gaul. so you pre lube the assembly and
wa-la! evrything lasts until lthe diff. lube bathes it!
or the other reason....onnacounta'cus! you know? right? onnacounta'cus if
ya don't yer gonna be doing it again real soon! lol!
