'course if it was outside work, forget about it, obviously (the weather
bites a big one).
As far as I know, there is no "control" over
the later PCV (carburator) system. It is
"graduated orifice" controlled depending
upon engine condition as far as I know.
IOW, there is no "control valve" as in the
earlier intake manifold mounted system.
IF this is true, then only crankcase over-
pressure (blowby) can result in excessive crankcase vapours (oil) being
burnt in
the combustion process with respect to the "later" PCV system?
Do I have this right as far as my train of
thought goes, here? I have to ask 'cause
I've never run any type of PCV system
except the "early" type intake
manifold mounted "rubber diaphragm within the valve" affair.
