the P1800 body was designed by Frua (sp?) a division of Ghia, but the first
couple thousand bodies were built by Jensen in England (same Jensen that
made the big Healey bodies).

I don't remember the details but it seems like there was some kind of
British connection with the P1800s.. I think maybe the U.S. bound ones were
built in England, at least early on. (Also, Roger Moore drove a white P1800
as "The Saint". :-) )
