You missed a good time! My return trip wasn't nearly as interesting as some but
what a pain. Started in Harrisburg around 8:00 in the morn on saturday and
didn't walk into the door at my house untill after 10:00 pm or 1:00 in the morn
east coast time. Too bad I don't get frequent flyer miles!
I only have one question, how to you east coast guys find your way anywhere? On
roads out west you go north to an intersection east to the next, south to the
next and so on. Eventually you end up back where you started. In my limited
driving experience back east that ain't necessarily so...... around the corner,
through the woods, over the river... hell, I'm in the next state!
It was a great time anyway! Hope to see you in '08.

Let me tell you something. In a "regulated" environment, flying as an
employee was simply great. Been to
England, Switzerland, etc., etc. all over
Europe. A lotta fun. But in the regulated
environment, I was never worried about
having a seat and getting back to work
on time.
Today, in an unregulated environment, you can never be sure of a seat.
Glad I did my non-reving travel years ago...
today...it's too much of a PITA, though
it's a nice benefit to have.
But if you gotta plan ahead to be sure of
getting back to work for sure assuming a
responsible work ethic.
