Got am out side gas bar-b-que?
I asked what they do when the "boil" a gas tank, the machine shop told
me they fill it with water and let it boil.
I have done this a few times now with great results.
I also throw some large nuts and bolts in the tank to swish around.
rocks work too but nuts and bolts can be retrieved with a magnet.
Remove the sending unit, fill it 3/4 with water and let it simmer on the
gas grill. Any/all the mung will float up to the top.
A good shake with the nuts and bolts (or rocks) before boiling helps.
