Hi - I just recieved replacement pistons from Vic Brit and they have a mottled
dark gray finish... I've never seen pistons that aren't chrome plated, at least
on the OD. The size is within +/- .001" diameter as the plated ones I'm
replacing (because of pitting, and I scratched some during removal).
Does anyone have good/bad experience with similarly finished pistons? Should I
return them and get plated ones (and from where)? Thanks.
