The antique car community (AACA and Hemmings Motor News) usually refers
to parts as NOS (New Old Stock) or NORS (New Old Replacement Stock).
Items made by the OEM (Original Equipment Mfg) are NOS since they would
be direct exact part from the assembly line or an item actually
manufactured by them for thier car. Items made by aftermarket companies,
replacements or accessory, are refered to as NORS.
