I put the car on ramps in the front, then put the floor jack under the oil pan,
using a 2 x 8 as a cushion so as not to dent the pan to badly. I already have
the
front mounts attached at this point. I raise the jack enough to that the tranny
mount is slightly off the rear crossmember. It is easier to shift about like
that.
