Well, THIS part of the list says to go to Slep Boys and buy the Littelfuse 
spade block that I bought!  5 fuses gives you one for the headlights!  They 
are less than ten bucks and you can get fuses at Wawa.

I agree with your assessment about the melting.  That is usually caused by a 
loose connection, and there aren't may connections.  It probably is a loose 
rivet.
