Thanks to all on the hearter control switch post.
Turns out that the cable stop that connects the cable
to the vent/air intake in the heater inlet, was
missing... the switch part was working just fine.
I put the hard top and side curtains on today and it's
almost unbearable in there with a sweatshirt on...
with the faucet type valve open and fan blowing. LOL
