Chuck- (aka, the Thin(ning Man!:)
No beef regarding the aircraft, per se, or
it's flight characterisics inclusive of power
off gliding capability. First class!!
But it's intended use was not
to be a glider and that's what Paul has
involuntarily found himself using it as
after two engine failure/shutdowns due
to a failure(s) within the aircraft engine's
"inverted" (negative G feed equipped)
oil system on two occasions.
One such as I cannot help but think that
an FAA "AD" (airworthiness directive) may
have been issued accordingly on the
"fleet" as a whole, unless this event is
subject to Paul's aircraft alone, which
is possible but not probable.
On the other paw, Paul may have
offended the oil Gods as he does seem
to be having his share of oil-related problems...hmmm....! Very strange!
