It may be your pattern I have been following for front
hinging just the bonnet itself. Is it on a web site?
Instead of one long hinge I have been working with two
heavy duty brass plated door hinges that came from a
building demolition. Really sturdy parts. Alignment is
a bit of a problem. But with jigling and using the
correct vocabulary they should work. Just seems like
the whole front end tilt would give better access to
the suspension etc in the long run.
