That is correct, Guy, the outermost row of spoke ends
are exposed. I am fortunate in that we do have a tire
dealer here in the Chicago area who like LBCs and does a
fair amount of wire wheels. I will be stopping by his
place tomorrow to get them all checked out. The tube in
question was the same dimensions as the tire, but I do
not have any past history on it.
